Beach and lagoon area in front of the resort is not an area known to have stone fish or dangerous coral outcrops. However the stone fish is normally found in rocky areas of the lagoon. We recommend you wear reef shoes at all times. During our summer the little 'Trigger' fish in the lagoon are known to harmlessly 'nip' you if you walk too close to their breeding area in the lagoon.
Beach lounges are complimentary to houseguests. They are a quality and solid piece of furniture and we sincerely recommend you stand up when you are adjusting the recliner mechanism so as to guard against injury to your fingers during this exercise. Beach towels are available from the beach hut.
Board games and books are available free of charge from reception and will help keep you entertained on rainy days.
Boat rides to Motu Koromiri (island) are available from the beach hut for a nominal per person charge.
Check out time is 10am and check in time is 2pm. Late check out is subject to availability and rooms can be held until 6pm at an extra charge.
Credit cards - Visa, MasterCard, Diners and American Express are all accepted by the resort.
Departure and Airport Transfers information is available from reception, however we will send a letter to your room summarising your departure information, the day prior to your departure.
Facsimile and photocopying services are available at reception 24 hours a day. Charges apply and can be billed to your room.
Foreign currency exchange can be transacted at reception. We use the daily rate conversions provided by the ANZ bank (Monday to Friday). We charge a resort commission fee plus a nominal bank fee on all transactions.
Glass bottom boat excursions are a wonderful way to see the lagoon and our marine life. Experience the underwater world on our own craft - The Moana Roa. Book at reception or the Beach Hut for our Snorkelling & Lunch Cruises, Monday to Saturday.
Hair and beauty services are provided by Altered Ego exclusively for Pacific Resort Rarotonga guests. There is a brochure in your room detailing the in-room services that are available. Please contact reception to make an appointment.
International flight reconfirmations from Rarotonga are not necessary. We will advise you of any changes to normal flight schedules.
Wireless Internet is available throughout the entire resort, including guest rooms and public areas. If your laptop or PDA has wireless connectivity capabilities then you can purchase a Wi-Fi access from our reception desk. We also have a laptop that is configured for Wi-Fi which you can hire at the Barefoot Bar.
Kids club operates from the beach hut and a daily activities schedule is posted on our blackboard menu. Our team at the beach hut are very child friendly but are not trained child carers and we ask that children no younger than 6 years old be enrolled in The Kids Club. Please give our beach hut boys permission to charge your room and provide your children with food and beverages if and when appropriate.
Life jackets are available and provided on request.
Massage services are available. This service is performed on the beach, in a designated resort room or if you prefer in your own room. Please contact reception for information or to make a booking.
Orientation is conducted daily at 10:30am at the Barefoot Bar. All the information provided at orientation is contained in this compendium but attendance gives you an opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
Postage Stamps can be purchased at reception. The outgoing mailbox is also at reception and is cleared Monday to Friday at approximately 10am.

Sailing boats are available for hire and use inside the lagoon.
Security is everyone's responsibility. When leaving the resort ensure your room is properly secured. Please use the safe in your room or a safe bag at reception to store your valuables. For your convenience and the safety of personal items please leave your room key at reception.
Snorkelling equipment and kayaks are available from the Beach Hut on a complimentary basis. It can be dangerous to paddle too close to the reef. We definitely recommend that you make no attempt to go over the reef and you remain in the lagoon for your safety.
Swimming Pool - Situated up the path behind reception. For your safety and the comfort of all guests please observe the rules featured on the noticeboard at the far end of the pool area. Please note that there are no safety fences or lifeguards in the area.
The Beach Hut is open from 8am to 6pm daily.
The Pacific Drum our in-house newsletter is delivered to your room daily. This contains a variety of information regarding the resort, island, culture and history. Please do not hesitate to ask one of our reception team for an extra copy.

Weather conditions, tides and daily activity information can be seen on the beach hut notice boards or in the daily newspaper (Monday to Saturday) available for purchase at reception.
Windsurfing lessons are complimentary and board and sail rental is organised at the beach hut. Both group and individual lessons are possible.
Your account is best settled the night before your departure or at least 2 hours prior to your transfer pick up.
